I would like to express my SINCERE GRATITUDE to not one, but TWO bloggers who have nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award :
Both have EXCELLENT blogs & are VERY deserving of the V B award bestowed upon them.
steponacrack a daughters journey about life with an Alcoholic mother & crippling dementia. Jen’s narrative is courageous, candid, & sobering. All this from a compassionate lady who is also a Traumatic Brain Injury survivor 🙂
kellycautillo a vibrant young British woman who is a writer of contemporary fantasy novels, currently she is unpublished, may be there is an opportunity here? someone…
Kelly writes exceptionally well about a number of topics, from general observations & self discovery through to the craft of writing & book reviews. Her creative thought & candor is indeed captivating.
Don’t just take my word for these recommendations, make time yourself & check them out – please! 🙂
The Rules of the “Versatile Blogger Award” are as follows:

- Thank the blogger who nominated you.
- Add the “Versatile Blogger Award” pic to your blog post.
As I am still new to the blogging scene, I am going to introduce some new blogs that I have just started to follow as well as the tried & tested ones! All of my choices highlight a little of my own personality / SOH in some way 🙂
My nominations are (in Oscar Awards stylee)
(I do not seem to be able to leave a comment on this blog 😦 hoping you get to read this post)
7 rather random points about my life, some of which even I did not know until I started writing this!
1/. My favourite flowers are Peonies & Orchids
2/. It took me 5 attempts to pass my driving test – each time I was absolutely & totally convinced I had passed! I am still not sure if the instructor was told to ‘pass’ me or if I truly did it on my own merits 🙂
3/. I have spent the past 9 months learning the amazing science that is Numerology. Taught me by a genuine teacher with
30 yrs experience here in NZ. Learning this science has to be one of the most rewarding studies I have accomplished for
many many years.
4/. I physically cannot run. Hilarity ensues when I engage in such action.
5/. I have a phobia of drowning. I swim breaststroke with my head at a 45deg angle to my back, which makes for an uncomfortable & arduous swim…not sure how that stops me from drowning! I haven’t done any swimming since my accident, my neck doesn’t allow for such manipulation.
6/. I drink on average 2 litres of plunger coffee (black) everyday plus a flat white or two!
7/. I have an obsession with tanning my legs whilst the rest of my body remains white & luminous. What can I say I have a fear of aging, but it seems only from the hips up! 😉
Wow that was hard, enjoyable but hard. I am off for a nap now 🙂
